I have hit 130, but I let it go as soon as I got there because I was running out of road
It still wanted to go...I'm not sure what the RPM was at the time, but I could tell it had more steam. And this was on a completely stock car.
One thing I can think of is that you hit 130 on your stock 14" wheels and tires...Some people here have 17-18" wheels, and as the diameter of the wheels increases, so does the potential for top end speed. Get those 17"s on, and we'll see how fast you go then. Should be a fun experiment. And if you get pulled over, tell them its in the name of science
