I was wondering, I hear all the time about peeps running up to 140, 150 and so on and so forth in there eclipse, my question is this, In 5th gear @ 132 MPH I am at 5500 RPMs and it wont go any faster. WHY?? What did you guys do to your car to make it go faster than that speed? I cant figure it out. Did you do something to your computer or does it have something to do with the tires? Let me know so I can get in on it too. I love speed and I want to know my cars Max result. I have 195/70/14's Stock rims (for now) and when I get my 2 tires in I will have 205/40z/17's.
