100k on the car. 80k on the motor. The car is green in color. No dents at all. Its also automatic. Car is all stock except the aftermarket radio and cold air intake. This is for a kid I know.

no it didnt, you posted it in the wrong forum probably because 4g guys sell their stuff here. When a topic is moved you can tell where its moved from.

I'm wondering as to why the engine was rebuilt at 20k miles...

Don't sell your car to 16 year olds...

It probably wasn't rebuilt. He never said it was rebuilt. Best guess is that his motor blew and he put a used one in.
