hey guys, bastard mechanic fixed a nut but then bent the crap out of the stud that runs parallel to the pulley and is about 4" long and is threaded all the way and is reverse thread. i dont have a local satan and so if anyone could get a hold for 1 for me itd be highly appreciated. just ring me up emoji thx

can u snap a picture of it.. i'm sure i have one in my "bucket o' bolts", but i have no idea what it looks like now. also, have u tried bob kise?

ok, for all your idler pully problems...here's a solution

YOU DONT NEED THE IDLER PULLEY!!!!!

just remove the whole assembly (just leave the bracket on the motor), and buy a 47" 5 ribbed belt. loosen your power steering pump and push it towards the firewall. route the belt around the crank pulley, a/c pulley and p/s pulley. then use a pry bar to push the p/s pump towards the front of the car, tighten the bolts, and you're good to go!!!!!

that pulley is useless and has caused more problems on our cars than anything else....ive gone through 3 of em at 120 bones a piece before i figured this out

well i agree, but would i still use that sized belt for my unorthodox udp? ill do that next time but i already have the belt and crap, alls i need si this damned bolt.
