ok, for all your idler pully problems...here's a solution
YOU DONT NEED THE IDLER PULLEY!!!!!
just remove the whole assembly (just leave the bracket on the motor), and buy a 47" 5 ribbed belt. loosen your power steering pump and push it towards the firewall. route the belt around the crank pulley, a/c pulley and p/s pulley. then use a pry bar to push the p/s pump towards the front of the car, tighten the bolts, and you're good to go!!!!!
that pulley is useless and has caused more problems on our cars than anything else....ive gone through 3 of em at 120 bones a piece before i figured this out
good luck...
my car is for sale...check the thread in this board
