They will serve your purpose, this isn't really for high end programs, but it will serve your purpose..

I can get you toshibas for 250.

Also I have an Hp omnibook 4550. dvd, floppy 10 gig Hd , 256 ram . does not have windows installed. all the components are working... just with the classes and such I dont have time to work on it. Planned on selling it for 400+ when ready to go. But ill let it go for 250 also.
You can probabbly get a comp shop to do it for you...
