granted thieves dont JUST go by decals for deciding which cars to break into, but im sure they still help the thieve make his decision. I mean, why take the extra risk and keep it on?

Thats like saying,
'well i could lock my doors when i go to sleep, but whats the point? if a theif wants to break in, he can get past a lock'

Sure he could get past the lock, but why make it that much easier for him? its just ill-logic


A reverse axample would be people with ADT alarm systems. If a would be thief wanting to break into your house see's the ADT picket sign in your front yard, i think he is MUCH more likely to move on to the next house. Maybe you really do have an ADT system, maybe you dont. But why would the theif want to risk it?

Since we are dealing with extereme, then why bursh your teeth? They are gonna fall out when your old anyway, so why take precaution and bursh them to make them last longer?

Why cut your hair every month or so? Its jut gonna grow back? Why not wait till your 90 yrs old and then cut it one time and save yourself a lot of money.

All im trying to say is, just because he has the Alpine sticker on his car or not, it MIGHT not attract a theif, but a theif that MIGHT pass up your car MIGHT see that sticker and change his mind. Correct?

Thief Logic:
Why have a 50/50 shot of breaking in car with no decals and finding a nice system.
When you can have a 99.9% percent shot of finding a nice sysem on the eclipse with the Alpine decal.
