No. must have been a shitty meter. that system would struggle to hit over 140.

I got metered just yesterday with my new deck, one 12" Elemental Designs 12K.44 (their bottom end model) in a custom slot ported box at 143dB. picked up just under 2dB with a new deck, but the biggest news was under 40Hz I got an extra 6. for one $100 12" sound quality sub, I am pleased with the results.
