Hey you might find this interesting because i had the exact same problem. It got so bad that whenever i would shift hard from 1st to 2nd. the belt would come flying off.. so i brought it to mitsu and it turned out that there was a "RECALL" on the A/C pulley bracket. Once i got that replaced i never experienced the problem again.
