Mad props for havin one of the first kits. I think Wyatt and I have one of the first kits that star made. I didn't own it first though ... i bought it used 3 months ago..
anyway...i know what you mean about the belt flying off when you hammer it. try seeing if one of your pulley's wobbles alot. That is what my problem is. Also, if you have an earlier tensioner pulley...the flat one...they make a wider one now...at least it was wider than the one on my car...hope you find out why it does that..
