Anyone have a gauge cluster they are willing to sell for really cheap. I am flat broke the gauge cluster in it now I believe is shot, and i have no way of getting back home as this is my daily driver and no one will buy the car. I have to get this fixed so that I may drive back home in 3 weeks. So someone please hook me up. Does'nt matter weather its a 95-99 auto or mtx or if its turbo or non turbo. Someone please just help out.. I'm really in a jam.

Just and FYI. The car will drive just fine without a cluster. You can gauge your speed off everyone else that you are cruising around. Keep it filled with gas and you shouldnt have any problems.

I know what you mean dj, like the navigation is tapped off my obd2 port and can tell me how fast I am going its just a pain in the ass to take my eyes off the road for and being doing that for a 19 hour trip back home. I just have no idea what the hell is wrong, I am hoping its not the pins on the back.

This is getting off topic for this section, but I assume you have gone through all the fuses both in the car and under the hood? do the lights work? and absolutely none of the gauges work at all? thats weird.

It's deffintley the cluster. Here is my diagnosis after all the rage left me from the previoius night

Push gauge cluster in slightly, all gauge operation is normal. Push it all the way in it cuts off. So I pull it out and stare at it for awhile then a buddy of mine takes a look at it and points out that the contact points are split. Here are some pictures to see. But it's obvious now that I deffintley need a new gauge cluster. The lights use to flicker off and on time to time, so i believe these contact points have been opening for quite some time.

Note: My Grizzly Italian Leg Is Not Part Of Faulty Gauge Cluster

What happened to the idea of selling your car? I thought you weren't acting erratic? emoji

Just kidding man. Hope you get it fixed, your car is one of my favorites on these boards. I was surprised to see that thread last night. Glad to see your keeping her emoji

Last night was not good at all man, problem after problem.. The aftermarket gauge wiring caught fire. The o2 sensor wire went up in smoke half way to the ecu thank god it didnt make it all the way there. Shit was just going wrong like non stop. Not to mention that it was me and my fiance's anniversary and we are 1,100 miles away. Seeing the money wasted and things that I could have better spent that money on like bringing her here made me hate the car all that much more.
