-It would probably need to be painted again. I painted it black this summer and it was my first time painting and it didnt really turn out that good. So you may want to paint it again. Its not horrific but you can see where i did the body work and stuff.

haha yeah i messed up. The rebuilt engine, tranny, clutch, and cylinder head, all have less then 2000 miles on them. It may be a bit more now but it cant be too much. I have never used the nitrous yet on the engine because still waiting to break it in.

the adjuster stopped. I have to get it towed to a shop to have them see if the damage is more than what the car is worth. I will post my findings when i get a call.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I WILL BE SCREWED INSURANCE WISE IF THE FIRE WAS CAUSED BY THE WIRING FROM THE NITROUS SYSTEM?????/ JUST CURIOUS. I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT CAUSED IT BUT WE WILL SEE I GUESS. HOPE THE FULL COVERAGE WILL STILL COVER IT.

yes you will be screwwed. They also have the option to not cover anything due to the fact you had nitrous on the car. Best bet is to remove it. State farm tried to refuse a totaled car a friend of mine had when they found the feedline.

SHIT!!! that really sucks. I was hoping that it would have been totalled because i have full coverage on it. The Nitrous was not even hooked up but to the TB but there were wires and shit running all around the back of the engine for it. I guess we will see what satan says the damages are worth.

They might not pay any attention. Back then the insurance company was the one who appraised the damage, now they take the word from the approved shop. who knows?

I just talked to the mitsu dealership and they said about 30 hrs labor at 80hr 1000 for the harness and 600 for another harness. Thats just a breif estimate. I am 99% sure that they will total it. I am taking the wheels and nitrous and hopefully the hood. If anyone else wants anything let me know as fast as possible before they take it away. I am not even sure if they will let me take anything out at all. I would love to part it out but i have no time or place to do it. I will do my best though if you need anything

many insurance will allow you to remove aftermarket as long as you put the stock back on. they wont take the car without a hood or without any rims.

I am going to lock this thread for a few hours then delete it since you are noo longer selling the car. Once you see this feel free to post a partout thread ect.
