The car is a 95 Talon ESi with an early eclipse front end (not the 97-99 style). Car is black, hood/front bumper green; I also replaced the front fenders and passenger door with replacements that are black, but with a bit of peeling paint. I did this since the tips of the front fenders were bent, and the door looked like it got opened into a pole (gas station?). It has a new radiator, and a new timing belt at 142k. Car currently has 156k on it. Only rust is on the strut towers. 2.0l DOHC 420a and automatic transmission. Grey interior. 2 new tires on the front. I can get above 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. Air worked last year, but not this year - it seems the compressor doesn't engage. New alignment and battery as well. Transmission does act up a bit; downshifting into first gear is rather hard, I put it in neutral at stops and manually downshift the transmission. It also chatters a bit when it's under a slight load, it may be a trans/motor mount that is bad. Once it gets going (~2200 RPM or so), it upshifts and goes fine. It also needs an IAC, it has a fluctuating idle.
Cruise control works, but the switch is a bit flakey (once it's on, it stays on, but getting to turn on is bit odd).
I daily drove this everyday until I got my Audi. Car is in Farmington Hills MI and available to be seen almost anyday after 5.
These are older pics; it has newer fenders on it now (if you look close, you can see the front corners bent on these ones, the reason I replace them).
$1700, or make me an offer. Cars without plates aren't allowed around here, and I'll want my garage space for the new ride. 2

Not that I want to buy your car but I would like to show my solidarity with you. I drove my 1G eclipse and was putting it in to nutral for every stop or slow down below 20 mph, I dorve it like that for over 50k and than got a newer talon, eclipse got donated
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 98 Stock Talon ESi Mods: New spark Plugs NGK, Fresh ATF, K&N, AGX, UDP and ZipTies tieing the strut towers (according to BlackMagic increases my torsional rigidity) I know spark plugs are not a mod but the car runs so smooth now.

I hope I don't have to donate this car, but I just read my ad and it sounds worse than it actually is. Someone should drive it and see for themselves. I've daily driven it this way for the past year.
