Just getting a feel to see if people are interested in a 97 GST spyder.

Comes with 5 speed, red, tan top, tan leather interior...all options available for that year minus trunk CD changer.

Car has 61,200 on the odo. Still on factory Clutch (henced not abused)
Fluids changes every 3000 with Mobile 1.
BG synchroshift changed again at 60,000
Will come with N-1, Injen, catch-can, VDO boost gauge.

Just looking to move into an Economy car, now that we got the whole convertible thing out of our system.

Asking for 11K OBO. Prefer SoCal customers, or anyone in the Pacific time zone.

African/Saudi Arabia/...etc scammer wanting me to cut them a check up front for the difference need not apply.

Clay, will see what happens to the car. I got 2 people coming to see it. If they don't want the mods, I will let you know.

Keep in mind the car has been a SoCal car all of its life, hence very little to no undercarriage rust, no oil leaks, and able to pass SoCal Smog.

I've looked on autotrader for similar vehicles based on pricing parameter and majority have either 80K on them, or are the 2.4 NT.

Either way if it doesn't sale, I will drive it to the ground. Not really in a hurry to get rid of it, nor are we hurting finacially and in need to get rid of it.

Thanks for the free bump.

I think the price is fine. People sell these cars for way too little. Someone hears of a friend of a friend buying a turbo 2nd gen for like 3,000 and all the sudden nobody wants to pay what a car is really worth. Finding a car in such great shape is rare these days, so I would expect to pay more for them.

The same thing happened with the Evos. When I sold mine for $23,500 the blue book was 26k. Nobody would go near it though because some morons were selling them online for close to $20k just to get rid of it. Once one person sells for really cheap the price for everyone else drops as well.

That is why Supra owners get so upset when someone sells a MKIV Supra for like $15,000. Once one sells for so little, people won't pay what the cars are really worth.
