Ok, last buyer never really committed, so I'm relisting this.
The block is in fine condition (deck, bedplate, etc), but the cylinders are out of round. It needs a standard overbore to correct the problem. The line bore on the crank is in within spec. If you would like to speak to the machine shop that checked this block out for me, call 610-820-5320 and ask for Jim. I'm selling it b/c I have standard bore forged pistons and I already bought another motor to build.
It is just the block itself, there is NO crank, NO oil pump, and NO water pump. I have pictures upon request. If you desire to go w/ overbore pistons this block is ready to go to the shop - it's already disassembled and it's been cleaned. I'm asking 75 bucks. I'm located in the Allentown/Philly area. I'd prefer someone come get it, or I'll meet up with you somewhere. I can ship it though. I have a friend who owns a business and can ship at half the cost. For example, the last interested buyer was in VA. It was $125 to ship, my friend could ship it for 63. If you want to evaluate shipping cost on your own it weights about 125lbs crated.

Brokenrodguy - the guy who is currently interested may come today to get it, if he doesn't you have first dibs. Where are you located? If I sell this one, I can possibly get my hands on another gutted block if you want for about the same price.
Malenko - I'd be more than willing to take it to the shop and get it bored for you. I don't know what he'd charge, I never asked. Probably only about $75 would be my guess. If everyone else falls through, I'll PM you.

Actually, I'm pretty far north of the turnpike. If this guy doesn't take this tonight, and you want it, I can meet you on the turnpike at Midcounty exchange on your way towards Valley Forge. I'll let you know what happens.

Yup, sold to this ^^^ guy. Pretty cool guy too.
Anyway, brokenrodguy and malenko ... I have a siezed short block that I just picked up this weekend too. But I haven't had the time yet to rip into it and see how bad it is. Probably won't get to it for another week. I'm anticipating sorta the same thing. All the internals will probably be junk and the cylinders will need to be bored. If that's the case as I suspect, I'll probably let it go cheap. If either one of you is seriously interested, keep in touch with me. I could even have it machined for either one of you.
