Alright, a bare block with pistons, rods, crank is exactly 150lbs, being the UPS shipping limit.
If you want me to rip out the pistons, rods, crank, and the other stuff, I can do that. Shipping to 48035 is about $90 granted it weighs 120lbs as a bare block. Thats a little high, granted crank must be 40lbs or so, and the rods and pistons is more weight lost too.
Block will be shipped in a container in which YOU pay for. Like a heavy duty rubbermaid which you can keep if you need to store the block or whatever. It minimizes return shipping and I really don't care about a rubbermiad container, lol.
Cost of container < $30 Cost of shipping < $110 Cost of block = $75
$110 is for the maximum shippable weight, so expect it to be around $90 or even less depending on the weight. The container I can probably grab as a Wal-Mart special for less than $30, and $75 for the block is the set price.
Lowest cost $170 Highest Cost $215
Sound good to you?
