#79060, "WTB: Plastic piece on door that holds in the buttons"
I need the piece of plastic that is on the passenger side door and hold in the power door lock and power window buttons. The piece I have is busted where plastic screw pieces for those buttons are. So if someone has one I could buy from them I please make sure that all the plastic screw threads on the bottom are not broken. Thanks guys.
BTW: Here are some pictures of the piece I need.
Here is a picture of what those threads that break a lot. As you can see just about all 4 of the screw holes for the buttons are busted.

Anyone have one of these? Or a parts car that they could get one out of for me?

It's really a rare find man. I need one for the driver's side too because I did the same thing, but hardly anyone wants to separate the whole panel for that one part. I was thinking of just fiberglassing it back in or something.

Well hell if no one has one I could probably just rip one out of a Sebring or Avenger because there sure is a hell of a lot more of those in junk yards by me then there is 2G DSM's. If you can fiberglass something for a reasonable price I most likely will buy one from you though.

Ha, I'm a newby fiberglasser. I'm sure someone like madhatter or 98eclipse2nr could do it though. If you ever find a black driver's side (that holds the buttons in and everything) over there, PM me and I'll pay you for it.

I have this peice for $10. shipped and its yours. The other thing you may want to do is get a longer screw (same thread size) and put a silicone on the threads of the screw before you put it in the hole. Let it dry overnight and the problem is fixed.
