#78126, "FS: Short block/Bottom End - Ready to be built"
As the heading says, I have a completely gutted short block for sale. As some of you may remember, I spun the main rod bearings a while back. I sent it to a machine shop to have it anaylized. Turns out in addition to bearings being spun, the cylinders were also out of round by 8thousandths. It needs a standard overbore to correct the problem. The line bore on the crank is fine, however when the bearings spun it scored the crank journals, ruining the crank. If you would like to speak to the machine shop a/b this block, call 610-820-5320 and ask for Jim. I'm selling it b/c I have standard bore forged pistons and I already bought another motor to build.
It is just the block itself, there is NO crank, NO oil pump, and NO water pump. I have pictures upon request. If you desire to go w/ overbore pistons this block is ready to go to the shop - it's already disassembled and it's been cleaned. I'm asking 100 bucks, but I'm willing to negotiate. I'd prefer someone come get it, or I'll meet up with you somewhere. Hit me up on email with other questions.

Good question, I was stupid for not putting that up in the first place. I'm located sorta between the Philly/Allentown area of PA. Like I said, I'd prefer not to ship, but if anyone is really interested, I can crate it and get a quote. I'm willing to drive a bit if I have to.

brokenrodguy: Yes, it has the bedplate and all the bolts and oil filter assembly. As the ad says, the crank is junk (you can have it if you want it), no oil pump, and no water pump. I'm located in Coopersburg PA, 18036
