custom built speaker enclosure made to hold 2 12" subs that can be mounted facing front or rear. The enclosure is ready for paint. The enclosure sits flush behind the rear seat and extends to fill the whole trunk area. It will fit all 2g eclipses. A simple mounting device will have to be made to hold it up. Custom glass enclosures of this size can cost upwards of $600. Because you will have to make your own mounting brackets I am selling for $250 plus shipping. Shipping for an item this large will be about $60. I am not a regular on this forum because I have sold my 2gnt but you can reach me at clean_rx8@yahoo.com. Feel free to ask any questions.
Jared

.... It looks like it could be cool...? But how do you even mount the subs to it? You would also need subs that dont require a box i suppose? I build glass boxes, and it looks like you forgot a few steps.

Don't sell your car to 16 year olds...

not to mention some simple eyeballing for symetry. sorry man, but not a very good project, and certainly not worth $250.00. knock off $200.00 of that and maybe you'll get a bite... maybe....

nice idea though, I like the concept. you could build a bottom for this box no problem, but it'd be a pretty small box.

Judging by the slot towards the bottom, it looks like it would lay over your middle rear hatch panel.

man you guys are right, I didnt really think how much work would be left to do on this thing. The box sits right on top of the rear trunk panels and extends forward to the back of the rear seat. You could mount it by building some type of wood box underneath it, or if you are good with metal work you could build some sort of frame for it to sit on and screw in to. This is really doing me no good because it is just sitting in the way in my garage. I will take $125 shipped just to get rid of it so that somebody can use it. any questions, feel free to ask,
Jared

i can image the sound it'd make if it had subs in it just resting on the hatch panels... that thing would be bouncing around back there

cool idea tho... finnish it, then sell it IMO.

Where is the Custom built speaker enclosure? All I see is a piece of mal-formed fiberglass, but no enclosure.

hey he did a good job on sanding at least, he has some good effort into that. take it easy, he's just learning. with some bracing and another couple layers of glass it'd be well worth his original asking price. a place to mount the subs too would be nice, there is no lip to bolt them to emoji

Very true, its a sick design, i can immagine poppin the hatch and seeing that, I'm almost considering buying it for near $100, and finishing the job, or using it as a mold.
