I did the same thing. Just make sure you get something tried and true when you replace it. I run a CM Stage 4 and honestly I beat the shit out of it. Last summer was smoke-filled full of 2nd gear 6K drops and when I pulled the tranny this winter I noticed the clutch still has lots of life left in it. I know the CM stage 4 is expensive, and there are other un-proven alternatives coming to the scene, but it's something to think about.

Ofcoarse they're denying it... but there are tons of guys having problems with that clutch. I talked to Steve when I was having problems, and he really helped me out... but the rest of those guys at SPEC didn't try to help me at all. Sorry man, you're gonna have to suck it up and buy another clutch. It sucks, I know. Doug

I had a SPEC Stage 3 in my '95 GS. It was working mint for about 2 months, then the TOB was making some serious noise, and I swear to GOD i put it in right. Customer service wasn't too shabby, I guess. I think they delayed my order though, kept promising me it was in the mail one day, and when I finally got it, yeah it took 3 days to get to my house, but was sent about a week after they promised it to me.

I got one with a slight leak in it at the rubber boot ... but if you're just trying to trouble shoot it might work. You can have it as far I'm concerned. Just pay the shipping. Let me know.
