I will be selling my starion front mount intercooler in two weeks. It has two aluminum mounting brackets welded to the intercooler. There is one on the top center and one on the bottom slightly off center. It mounts perfectly even inside the center bumper opening. The end tanks are slightly polished and still have a good shine to them. The piping on the intercooler is still stock. I decided not to change it due to my low boost settings and cost involved in redoing the endtanks. There core looks pretty damn good and is one of the best conditon starions I have seen. Mine was also mounted behind the grillcraft grill for protection and that sleeper look.
I plan on keeping the piping I have for now.
What is this thing worth on the 2gnt market? I have seen some idiots ask $200 for a piece of crap starion. This is outrageous considering the new aftermarket cores are not that expensive.
Any ideas or first dibs?

bad condition ones go for 150-ish great condition ones for 250 tops. check ebay prices, though some of those are weird, for example this beat up one is getting higher bids then a good shaped one.
I could prolly do 200 if you included the piping (IM getting a STAR stage I so the piping would match up)

Thanks guys.
One of the main reasons I was checking here is that I wanted to pass this thing along to another 2GNT member. The thick aluminum brackets that are welded on are setup for our cars specifically. It is pretty much plug and play mounting it up.
Piping will cost approx. $60-80 depending on how much you pay for U/J bends, 2-inch Gates radiator hose and clamps. I have it where I use the Gates black stuff where you cannot see it and Turbonetics 2-inch blue hose where it is visible in the engine bay. I am probably going to keep the piping because I do not need any more than 2-inch pipe on my setup till after I rebuild. It also keeps lag down to a minimum. If I sold the starion with piping/everything for a complete setup I would be wanting over $250 due to the cost of the mandrel piping, turbonetics hose and the time it took me to cut everything for a perfect fit. This is too high IMHO, but it is what I would want. This is why I think I will just sell the intercooler and you can do your own piping.
So you guys think $150 plus shipping is a good price for one of our 2gnt guys. Me too! I will post back when it is off the car and it is for sale.
