does the contour of the roof scoop molding flow into the shaved rear windshield?

you said the roofscoop molding was cracked? would it be possible to just tear it off and shave it back down to the stock bare metal? and replace the whole hatch with another one to get the rear windshield back?

California Vehicle Code Section 26708: (a) (1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied upon the windshield or side or rear windows. No offense to the owner or his friends, but that is one of the most assenine (sp?) eclipse's i have EVER laid the naked eye on. That molded window just looks funky and the hatch is all fucked up looking imo. If ^^^ buys it, i will $50 per whack on that thing! I want ATLEAST 20 too! That would be a good money maker for whom ever said that, lol i forget already who did!
