Well, I 'm actually looking to put my talon on the market. I know it's crazy, but I think it's time to look for new challenges and a new platform. I've loved this car since I bought it new in 98, but I'm ready to go in a new direction.

I would love if someone on this board would take it off of my hands first though. It's got all the bells and whistles and I've taken great care of it. In fact, it hasn't seen a winter for the last 2 years.

Anyways, it's got the built engine(JE's, Crowers...etc.), ceramic 6 puck clutch, 8 injectors, full suspension setup and tuned to a wideband to 15 psi. It's made over 250 @ the wheels and over 260 torque. It's a beast and anyone could do more with it. Anyone who's seen it knows the paint is pristeen and she's pretty as hell.

Just give me $8500 obo and take it off my hands...racing seats, turbo timer and all. It's ready to go.

Car has not quite 67000 miles, and the new engine only has 7000 as well as the new clutch, timing belt...etc. Picture is below and she looks BETTER in person. Ask anyone at the Shootout!

Whoa..... Im in shock lol

Id pay you a lot of money to swap engines entirely - then you could sell it locally for the same asking price and make that much more...shouldn't be hard...

Heh...sorry guys. I'm a tuner nut, and I need to be challenged way too much to just sit pat and enjoy it. I honestly just crave a new project car that my brother and I have been pondering for a while.

The car's never ran better. Period. Another thing is that strangely enough....it NEVER gives me problems or breaks down. And it's supposedly a DSM! emoji

Ryan, sell the car for a discount and swap the engines...I don't care. But I'm selling it as it is. I don't feel like ripping apart this beast. It's clean and tight, and will be trouble-free for whoever wants to buy it for some serious power.

Damn Jason! What are you doing!! haha...Ya know, 15 psi on the 420A is not even that challenging yet emoji When I can burn up slicks halfway down the track, then I'll be happy haha..Maybe set your goals a little bit higher for that fine ass ride emoji IMO, these cars are VERY challenging when it comes to making gobs of horsepower, and getting it sufficiently to the ground to use it. We have a totally wrong platform to work from, when building a fast car. That's what makes it fun..to me anyway.. Plans to stay in the DSM crowd??

If I had the time/money, my next project would be a custom RWD 420A Eclipse, tube frame, ford 9" rear, and powerglide 3 spd..just like Scott is doing with his 1G but with a 420A emoji

And depending on how the sale of my car goes, I might be more or less interested in this one. I am going to list it in the autotrader soon... it'll hopefully be a quick sell. If I was to give you a deposit to hold the car while I come up with he balance how much would you want??
and where do you live in case I want to pick the car up?

No off topic posts guys. They'll be deleted fast.

I might allow you to do that if you're REALLY serious for a limited amount of time. Email me if you want to work something out, and how long you might let things go.

It's already on autotrader.com. I'm in Illinois, but I'd be willing to assist you in shipping it out to you and discuss any details.

Guys, you'll be pleased with this car. It's not new, but it's pretty damn clean. Besides the interior having VERY tasteful racing seats, the interior is basically clean and stock without any weird grubby paint on interior dash pieces, etc. Power windows, power doors, power sunroof, and the air blows REAL cold.

another Illinois car emoji ROAD TRIPPPP for the money you are asking I couldn't afford to spend the $1,000 on shipping it out so I would come and pick it up and clock 1,000 miles driving it home gettin a feel for the car. My car goes in the trader tomorrow and I'm askin $11,000cdn.

edit: I am writin up an e-mail to you as we speak.
