#49904, "FS: stuff i was going to use for my turbo kit"
Jul-22-04 08:54 AM by 420a-Tnthewerks

since i bought a gst i have some items for sale for a 420a

-blue obx adjustable cam gears(brand new!) 130 shipped

-missing link(brand new!) 50 shipped

-aita stage 3 clutch(brand new!) 350 shipped

-1mm oversized valves(brand new!) 130 shipped

-420a block(block, crank, and bed plate) 200 shipped

-ractive CIA(used) $50 shipped

-entire hahn stage 2 turbo kit EXCEPT TURBO! everything is pretty dirty and the manifold and IC piping is painted yellow and blue but you can repaint them(the paint job looks like shit.) i bought it used and i would suggest new couplers and turbo to DP gasket. i never did find any DP to turbo bolts either, so you'll need to buy them seperatly. instructions included with 96+ fuel setup instructions. not sure on miles but i was told 300, but that is VERY unlikely. may consider parting out.(REMEMBER IT'S USED but i was told everything is in great working order). around $800 shipped.

everything that says brand new has only been looked at out of the box/package. i'll probably think of more stuff later but that's it for now.

*edit - kit has no BOV, i may throw in my hks but highly doubt it. it also does not have guage pod, but i will give you autometer, phantom i believe, boost and A/F ration guages.

also have 500cc injectors(at least that's what i was told they were) set of 4 - $150 shipped

**edit 2 - i do have paypal, just ask if you want anything.

Does the turbo kit have a front mount or a side mount?

i'll most likely use fedex ground for everything. if you want express you'll have to pay for the extra cost.

a lot of people have been asking for pics of the turbo kit so i'll post pics this weekend(it's in a different town) and post them here.(somebody's going to have to show me how to post pics)

any trades that i can use on my 4g63 will be considered.

thanks for lookin!

I also have a hks ssqbov for a factory gst. if you have a hard pipe you will need a flange to weld, the on it has is disigned for the soft pipe.

so it's a hard UICP with no hole at all, or just no flange? what's the diameter of the pipe? and who made it?

I have no idea whomade it, I got it with my bov. it does have a hole in it, it had a HKS SSQ Bov welded to it. If you have the same flange welded on it you would never kow the difference. The previous owner had the flange welded from the inside sothe hole was small and the weld wasnt noticed.

is there a rim/lip around the hole? or better yet, do you have a pic?
the reason i'm asking is becuase i have an hks ss bov that you can just put a coupler over it and attach to the pipe, it's not really a flange.

no you have a bov with a flange setup for the factory pipe. it is a flange see the large snap ring at the base of the bov in the crevis. that will not work withthis pipe sorry. you would need to order the steel weld-on flange for that bov. If you wanted it i can weld it if you have the flange sent to me.

I do have a pict but my scanner is not working, not sure why software issue.

ah, i see. well i don't see the flange because i only glanced at the bov once before i took to the other town, i haven't seen it since. anyways, so what i'll need to make yours work is to get the steel hks flange and a coupler, i dunno that's like 40-50 bucks extra for me...i'll see.

pics coming this weekend!

no coupler!!!!! just the flange. your bov will come off that funny looking snorkle you have for a flange itsmounted on and clip right into the flange you buy. it is like 40-50 i think. I can weld a small tube to the pipe so youcan install what you have but no guarentee it will fit right, its just not meant to be installed like that.
