Any one have a spare tranny laying arround emoji ? I need a whole new setup cause I cracked the houseing, so I wont be able to do the neon swap. Preferably in the CT area. Probably not but worth a shot. Thanks

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Which part of the tranny did u crack?? The bellhousing or transaxle part???

If u cracked the transaxle then just get a neon transaxle and bolt up to your stock bell housing. Got any pics of the crack, i might be interested in your bad tranny

I am in the Massachusetts area, about halfway between Boston and Worcester.

I will have a spare 3.94:1 transmission soon, but it will not have a bellhousing. I'm sad to see it go, because it's always shifted like perfectly since I bought the car with 109k miles. I've never "powershifted" or whatever it's called. The clutch has always been used while changing gears. It has been partially disassembled and reassembled once, in October of 2003. It now has about 155k miles, sitting in my garage.
