I thought I had a blown out sub when it quit working, but I took it to an audio place and they said the tincil leads are shorting out in the voice coil, (when you hook up the sub it doesn't work, but when you push down the dust cap it connects and plays) they could fix it if they took the dust cap off, but they don't do that and don't have the right machines, or something like that, but they say I could do it myself. I'm not much into saldering and all that so I just bought a new box and now I have 1 sub in my car. If anybody knows how to fix this, or wants to try, I'll sell it to you for like $5 + shipping.
