I have read many posts where a potential buyer replies to an item for sale with the response "SOLD". That person then does not pay the seller for the item or has changed his/her mind. They seem to wait for quite a while or sometimes never get back to the original thread and post that they are backing out.

PLEASE do everyone a favor. If you post sold, you better have the money available to make the purchase by whatever method is acceptable between both parties.

2GNT will not get in between any sales negotiation, this is something I have noticed flaring up.

BTW: If you say you are claiming "dibs" on an item that is the same as saying that you are buying it. I have seen many threads where there are 3-4 people are claiming dibs on an item. A month later the item is still for sale because nobody actually came up with the money.

I am going to lock this thread. I just want everyone to read it and really understand what I am trying to get across.
