The Auto Meter #3911 Sport-Comp "Silver" 5" Tachometer with Shift-Lite™ includes Auto Meter's "Dial-In-Exactness". This feature actually utilizes the tachometer's fluorescent red pointer to indicate the chosen shift RPM. By depressing the "push to display" button the shift point RPM is indicated by the tach pointer. Then, by turning the "Shift-set" knob, the pointer sweeps up and down until the preferred RPM is selected.
