i need 420a short or long block which ever anyone has. i need to do a rebuild asapi am tired of not having a car to drive. if anyone has a block it would be great please let me know. if you are close to my area tristate area northern de i will drive a distance to meet someone. thanks

Not sure, are you looking for a working stocker? If not I have a 420A with an excellent head if you are willing to come to CT to pick it up. I'll sell the head for $250 and the block, for $130 or $350 for both. Has no valve cover, no oil pan, but does have gears, cams, intake manifold. The block is cheap cause something is blown inside but not sure what. Great for a bottom end rebuild. Let me know.

Not sure. I just had it taken out. Comp numbers where 175 175 175 50. We thought it was a blown headgasket which it was but the numbers came back as such. Car still ran, so my guess would be just the rings? Never any block leaks. It was my stocker with 58k. The only issue I see it that you are in Ohio and you'll easy pay more for shipping than what I am selling it for. Up to you. Whoever wants it email me.
BTW-I will ship, UPS Ground, the head for $250 to anyone in the US.
