The motor is from a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. I looked in your profile and it looks like you are from Utah. As mentioned above, I would really like to sell this locally (someone to pick it up) as shipping would probably cost another $140 bucks.

I did some research as to what these parts cost from the dealer brand new

Springs: $70 each
Struts: $110 front, $90 rear

Of course the springs/struts I am selling are used and the price is adjusted accordingly. I could let the 4 springs and 4 struts go for
$225 shipped.

Let me know,
Kurt

well 225 is a bit steep, you have to remember that they are stock, and you can find much better brands much cheaper(used of course), but i'll pass on these

I am not sure what going price is on the shift boot but how does $20 for the boot plus $5.00 shipping sound?

If you are still interested, let me know.

Sorry man but I threw out all the timing components during the pull for the built engine. I figured they had 50,000 on them and so I replaced them with all new equipment (hydraulic tensioner, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley). The idler pulley was shot. The bearing inside was starting to hang during morning start ups (slight belt squeal) and began to glaze and shred the timing belt. After seeing that, I wouldn't have chanced the life of the engine on pulleys over 50,000 miles.

If you stil have the short block in the middle/end of Dec. I will be more than happy to come pick it up. By no means hold it for me but if it is still available then I will take it. I live in south jersey and have a friend with a truck who will pick it up fo me. I'm just asking you to keep me in mind if it's still around then.

Thanks Lonnie

Yes the ICEMAN cold air induction system will fit a 96 RS. I had it on a 96 GS and the only difference between the two models is some of the power options (door locks, windows, etc), body options (wing), paint trim options (painted handles and side view mirrors), and wheels (tire size, rims, etc).

I was thinking of selling this intake for $70 plus $5 shipping since a brand new one goes for about $200.

If you are interested, let me know.
Kurt
