#24366, "Parting out car...please read"

So this will come as a shock to many of you whom I've worked with countless hours on my car...but the time has come to call it quits. I'm in a position right now to come out on top if I don't put any more money into my car. So over the next few months (or less, if people are that interested) I'm going to part it out.

Here's the deal. I don't know WHEN exactly I'll be starting to strip it...but by the end of October at the latest. So if you're cool with that, here's what we got.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, manual transmisson, 152K on odometer.
Durango Copper Pearl exterior, black/grey interior.
Complete car, every piece is there, but I have already sold just the complete block and head.
Mods:
Tein Super Street Coilovers, used a few months.
Dual Piston Calipers-never installed on my car
Brembo GSX x-drilled/slotted front rotors-never installed
Raceconcepts xdrilled/slotted rear rotors-never installed
Stainless Steel Brake Lines-never installed
97-99 headlights, very good shape
Reverse indiglo guages, 9K tach
Real carbon fiber guage cluster trim
Real Carbon Fiber armrest
Tenzo R HEAVY brushed aluminum knob
Triple guage a-pillar

The rest is stock, but other than the driver's fender, the rest is all perfectly fine.

I WILL entertain offers to buy the whole car, and yes, these will be taken over parting it out.

Locals have first dibs. I hate shipping.

EMAIL me please with what you want and your offers. I will get back to you as quickly as possible, so please be patient and I'll let you know what's going on.

Again, please keep in mind it will be a few weeks before you get your part. If you're ok with that...send me an email

Thanks guys.

im going to possibly need the passenger side corner light assembly (full piece that snaps on to the wire, and the plastic piece on the wire and a few inches of wire), and the driver side reverse light assembly piece

Dibs on stock side skirts / both headlights if nobody needs... only if they are the smoked look and the front/rear rotors if nobody ends up buying.

Update....

I am now the proud owner of a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4-door 4WD, so if you need any of my parts and ever so happen to have anything I could use for my new jeep, feel free to offer trades.

I also am in desperate need of an alpine CD player and 6.5" speakers (2 pairs). Trades of anything above are welcome.

PS-the jeep is fire engine red and I need both passenger side doors, if you can find them near you in the same fire engine red, I'll pay you a finders fee!

The DPC's and SS brake lines are now sold...but that's it.

triple guage pod is still up for grabs.

Tein SS coilovers are gone.

Added: Sparco GRIP manual pedals...brand new, DRILL on (way better than those clip on ones)

Make me an offer on the headlights, still have them. Same with the corner light assembly, and let me know if you want amber or clear. Also offer on the clip for the gas door.

Email me offers...thanks guys.

I AM REALLY FLEXIBLE ON PRICE. PLEASE EMAIL ME.

Gauges-make me an offer, cost me 50 bucks.
Clear corners-cost me 30 shipped...20 shipped and they're yours, with bulbs.

Window stuff...perhaps a little higher, I feel as though they're worth a bit more.

Sorry I Win, you should have an email regarding the calipers and lines, have you received it yet?

Ronnie, if you want the shift knob, you got it, we'll work it out. the center console is going with the rest of the black interior minus the door panels, and we'll take care of the valve cover

And the wheels...yeah, are toast. Don't waste your money.

Ok guys, this isn't very reassuring. Lots of interest, no serious buyers??

I've basically sold my DPC's, SS lines, my Tein SS's, my black interior, the block and head, and the radio pocket. Nothing else.

I need money in order for this to benefit me. I need people to make offers that they'll spend and send me money and start taking this car apart. As of right now the car is WHOLE. I haven't taken anything off!

MAKE me offers and I will work it out with you! If there's something you want, LET me know!!!!!!!!

thanks guys..

Cool remy, no prob. Sorry_I_Win, sorry about missing your posts about the other parts...the sidemarker sockets are goin to my buddy locally, and the plastic inner fenders are beat to hell, I wouldnt sell those As for the calipers and lines, yeah, I'm still workin on those, I want to try and ship them sat if I can get them boxed up. Might ship just the lines since they're packaged and ready to go and get the DPC's out next week...cool?

No problem.. thanx for gettin back to me. I'd appreciate it if u could ship that out the first chance u get. If you want to ship seperately that's up to you, but the lines won't do me any good w/o the calipers.

u have that tracking info yet? I'm really getting a little worried here man. i sent you payment on the 6th.. that was 23 days ago and still nothing. I know u had some delays, but to be safe i need to have this by 11/5 or i'll have to refund my paypal money. If i wait longer than that, the 30 days will be up and then I can't get my money back.. Not that i don't trust ya, but I've been burned in the past.. gotta play it safe. Hopefully it'll be here soon.

Read this again, as many times as it takes you to get it man. I made it very clear it was going to be a few weeks until I could ship the parts. You paid me October 6th, less than 1 month ago. I gave you a really, really good deal and took a hit on it because you said you couldnt afford more. 160 shipped for brand new SS lines (normally 100 retail) and DPCS (normally around 100), and I ended up paying 20 in shipping charges. Which means for 200 worth of stuff, you paid 140.

I sent your tracking info to your email as well as to paypal now. Thanks a lot for sending a dispute. If you checked your email you would have read it.

I'm rarely on the board anymore, so posting on here is not an efficient and reliable way to get in touch with me. That's why I said email me.

Hey, just wanted to let everyone know that I did recieve the parts. I didn't doubt that you would ship them.. It's just that I had no choice disputing the charges. The day I disputed the charge was the 29th day and paypal only allows refunds up to 30 days. I was just trying to play it safe. No hard feelings.. FasterGS ripped me off for $400, so I like to be cautious. No harm done in disputing either, paypal gives u time to prove everything was shipped and u still get your money. Hope u understand man. I appreciate u giving me a deal on everything too. You're a standup guy. The rest of u have nothing to worry about.

Anyone know anyone who can help me tune this in the Pittsburgh area (Greensburg)?

Dude, look how old that post is. Allan and I are in contact, we worked it out. Ask everyone else that ended up with my parts, they shipped, there's no scam here.

As much fun as it is to start trouble...cut it out. Everyone makes mistakes. Let it go man.
