I'm looking for a busted 2gnt ECU of any year. If you have a spare one taking up space and wanna donate it, let me know. I plan to crack it open and look what microprocessor/s it has and look at the circuit board to try and come up with a possible interface.

This is why I need one. I'm an electronics engineering major at UTB entering my 4th year of college and one of my required classes before I graduate this year is Senior Design. In this class, I have to come up with a project to work on for two semesters and then present it.

The project I've been thinking about doing involves reading, understanding, and modifying the 2gnt ECU. I could start off with a simple modification such as raising the rev limiter and then work up to other things like changing the air/fuel ratio and timing.

If I can get this done, it would look real good on my resume as well as possibly being able to provide my 2gnt bro's with custom modified ECU's. However, before I could even start, I would have to know what type of microprocessor it has because the only assembly language I know is Motorola 68HC11 and similar, which a lot of cars happen to use.

Is that for a 5 speed? I might need it later should I happen to fry my current one, hehe. But right now I'm looking for a broken one I can tear apart... I'm sure somebody's gotta have one?
