#19552, "FREE! pair 245/45-16 and pair 225/50-16 used BFG R1 race tires" Aug-01-03 11:41 AM by juan
Clearing out the garage, so if anyone wants to pick these up get back to me.
Two (2) 245/45-16 BFGoodrich R1 race tires Two (2) 225/50-16 BFGoodrich R1 race tires
These are the original R1s with the asymetrical sidewall stiffness, not the newer G-Forces.
I got them used, but never installed them. There is some life left in these, and would be good if you wanted to try out r-compounds cheaply. I measured to the bottom of the depth pits, and got 3/32" for the 245s and 4/32 for the 225s.
Offering either pair seperately, or all four together. Free if you come get them (located in SoCal). Otherwise, you pay shipping.

I believe they are DOT approved for the street, but you won't get a lot of miles out of them if used to drive back and forth to work...
(although you could do that drive a _lot_ quicker than before if it's twisty... .
Also, the two sets are different sizes, and not everyone can fit 245/45-16 rubber if you are lowered or have the wrong offset on your wheels (tires may rub).
Just want people to understand what they would be getting.
