Stock header? You mean stock exhaust manifold?

OK why is it called an "exhaust manifold" when STOCK, and an "exhaust header" when AFTERMARKET??? emoji

well, basically because the stock exhaust manifold is a POS when compared to the aftermarket products, so the aftermarket gets the cooler name, "header", well because thats what it is.

Because a header is an individual pipe from each individual cylinder that runs a specific tuned length into a collector (4-2-1 or 4-1).

A manifold is either 4 extremely short tubes that haphazardly colide in one spot very close to the engine or it's one big opening that all the cylinders fire into.
