I am looking for the faceplate to a Pioneer DEHP-3100. Mine was stolen earlier this morning, and yes you read it right.. my faceplate was taken and not my stereo. I apparently botched the robbery.. but I get the impression the theif or thieves weren't too bright.
Anyway if you've got one for sale or know someone who does I'd love to know.

Faceplates are DEFINITELY interchangable. That's why you should never leave it in the car...if someone has the same radio (or stole the same one without the faceplate!) they can steal yours, which is probably what happened to you. I lost my faceplate on the train (fell out of my backpack somehow) and it was going to be $265 to replace it! Think about it, if those were cheap, we could all go steal people's radios and just buy new faceplates...it has to be expensive to balance out the idea of getting your radio stolen.
You're way better off either buying the whole thing on ebay, and just using the faceplate, or getting a whole new radio. It's not worth it to replace the face. If you're into throwing money away ...check www.pioneerusa.com, they should be able to list your faceplate.

There aren't any currently for sale on e-bay but I searched the past auctions and found two. One ended at $15 and the other at $35. I actually used my friend's faceplate earlier today for a while when we rode around. (he has the dehp-3100 too duh!)
But yea.. let me know if you guys have this anywhere
