DC Sports front strut tower bar CSB1001 - $75/obo shipped

I bought the strut bar about a month ago hoping that i would be able to use it in conjunction with the 2.4 swap, however it looks like it will take too much modification for me to handle. The bar was mounted, however the car was not driven with it on, and as you can see from the pics, it is in great shape. Comes packaged in original box with installation instructions and decals.

How is the clearance for the hood? Reason I'm asking is that I bought one used and hit the hood on the passenger side. Not sure if it was a manufacturing defect or the bar I got was from a wrecked car. If the clearance is good, consider it sold. emoji

I wish i had a definitive answer for you. I took my hood off to install the engine, and now that it's in, the strut bar won't seat fully due to the valve cover interference. I wasn't aware that there were hood clearance issues or I would've checked.
