(I know I posted some for sale unfinished before, but had a meeting with the boss and we agreed that we need to get these rolling)
Now as to the poll, we have a good size amount of these 2.2L 420a Stroker Cranks(3.543 stroke). Problem being there were problems in production, and the cranks do not have the timing notches put into the cranks, and there may be some roundness problems which can be fixed with grinding 10/10 on the rods mains.
I guess the point of this is to find out who all would be interested in a product like this in its current state (needing finished) and if you are not interested, to find out what we can do to make you interested. Lastly, how much would you be willing to pay for a product like this? The Cranks are made of a 4340 Forging and are extremely strong, durability is not an issue. Please ask any questions you may need. And let me know anything that we can do to interest you in this product (such as dyno charts, pics Aero-Shedding, timing marks, grinding etc.)

I would probably be intrested (depending on price), but the fact that it'd be unfinished discourages me because I wouldn.t wanna pay for shop work ontop of the actual purchase. Let alone trying to find a shop around my area tht I would trust. But that's me, i'll still be keeping an eye on this thread tho.

This is what's going to hold back a lot of people. The price would have to be fairly cheap based on the fact that it is an unfinished item. The statements, "Problem being there were problems in production" and "Roundness problems" would strongly hamper my decision on buying one of these (if I were going to).
Now, if these issues were to be corrected in house prior to sale, I think you could sell them somewhat easier, and obviously more than one that requires additional machining.

One of the reasons for this, is we are trying to decide if finishing them is worth the price. As an example, if it took us $800 to finish a crank, and you are only willing to pay $200 for a finished crank, than obviously it would be pointless on our end to finish them.
Hence trying to find out what you the consumer wants, and how much it would be worth to you. It is also up in the air on how finished. Would we just grind them and let you source timing marks or trigger plate? Would we grind and re-nitride them? I guess there are many routes to go, and perhaps opening up options may be the best route to go. However from a manufacturing standpoint, its most efficient to have them all done one way.

Was an example, those numbers do not reflect any real price, just trying to gauge what people would pay for what.
