Hi,

I am looking for one of the hahn turbos, i don't really care which(would prefer a 20g cause thats what i have now). But i need a replacement cause my 20g is leaking oil into the intercooler piping and was quoted by hahn today a rebuild which will most likely include a new center section to be $600 not sure i want to spend that.

thanks,
kevin

Just an FYI, you can get it rebuilt else where, Hahn just wants you to buy another turbo, or replace the center section because its easier for them. Hell, anyone with a C clip tool could "rebuild" it that way, all they do is put the turbine and exhaust housings on a new "middle". IMO call around and get a quote from other places to rebuild it. Hahn does sell each part you need if you they need parts to rebuild it with.

I've seen rebuild jobs WITH balancing for half that. If you're willing to take the time you can rebuild it yourself for ~$75-100

I have a Hahn Super 16g with a little less than 20k on it if you're interested.

Thanks guys i think i got it working better. Me and my one buddy took it apart and rebuilt it our selfs. I think the combination of a bad drain line and using the wrong oil, was talking to bill at hahn and he said it is bad to use royal purple
