Upper section is ceramic coated so it stays looking nice. That is not silver paint. There is very minor damage to the flex section braid (see photo). An O2 bung was added just ahead of the cat flange for a wideband sensor. You'll need a standard muffler clamp for the connection between the two pipes or have it welded after you determine the best alignment.
