when i was having my 420a engine rebuilt in my venge by a shop 3 years ago. i bought that and had them install it. they put it on and installed it but told me that the throttle cables and cruise control and all that would have to be replaced with longer cables. (or something along that, maybe shorter). so i had them take it off because i didnt feel like paying for it to be done. i will try to get pics up tomorrow.

All you had to do is slot the throttle cable hold down bracket that bolts to the intake manifold.

That is the problem I have seen with these and the Venom manifolds on the Avengers/Sebrings.

The eclipses are already slotted, so it should fit right? Im actually very interested in this now.

Yes it should fit. The avenger throttle cable slots are not as wide as the 2gnt's. That is why those guys need to furthur grind out their cables bracket to mount it to the intake.

All 95-99 2.0 n/t Eclipse/Talon/Avenger/Sebring cables have the same oem part number. All 4 cars were built at the same plant. Why would they use a different cable?

I dont know but I have visually seen in person a locals Avenger throttle cable when I wanted his when I got rid of my cruise control, and the slots were not as wide as mine were.
