my shift boot doesn't have that little plastic tab at the top of it to hold it onto the shifter. I need either a shift boot with that on it, or maybe even just the plastic shit thing.

also a short shifter. i'd rather not go the ebay route, but i will if i have too.

Here's a pic of my boot. I bought it from http://www.gottagetashiftboot.com/

Excellent quality. I had them make it 1" shorter at the collar. It don't come with a new plastic collar ring tho which is probably all you are really needing, right?

Anyway, if your in the market for a new boot as well, get one from them. They are a lot nicer than stock.

a plastic collar ring is really what i'm looking for but I don't know if that's something you can buy seperately...

Paul, if you ever come get this damn short block, bring the boot with you and i'll deduct it from the shortie price
