Well I have a spare TB and Intake manifold since last year, originally planned to send it to Concept Illusions to get both ported to 55mm (non-turbo). But after hearing about all the trouble members have with them, I have decided to look for an alternative.
So, I wanted to see if any members here have the equipment/setup/means to do this service for me (this would include putting ina new butterfly valve). I think they are chargin like $90 to do the job, plus I have to pay for all the shipping, so lets put that as a bench mark. I'm going to have my head ported and engine rebuilt soon. I'll ask the machine shop thats doing the head if they can do it, but I doubt it.
