I used this ignition amplifier for about 2 years, it never gave me any issues. This is the one with dip switches to configure ignition retarding. It was mounted behind my glovebox on top of what I think was the fan motor for the vent. It was hooked up to my coilpack for about 1 year then I got a Megasquirt, so it just sat there generating a nice amplified tachometer signal which I hooked up to several devices like my wideband and my Viper alarm. Included is the seperate red box that sinks the energy from the stock ECU and simulates a coilpack so the ECU doesn't light up the CEL. The MSD DIS-2 (MSD part number 62112) alone has a MSRP of around $530, I did a quick search and could find it for around $400 from cheaper vendors. The tachometer adaptor goes for around $80. Both avaiable from me for $200 plus shipping.

Since I am not in the States I asked my parents to take pictures of the MSD parts for sale. The items included in this package are circled in RED. I am lazy so I am going to be posting the same image somewhere else, the stuff circled in BLUE is not for sale.
