I'm regauging interest in my car. Either as a whole or parting it out.

As-Is - it currently does not run. Not because there is anything wrong mechanically but because I started rewiring it and lost interest. Its located in Houston, TX.
$8500 OBO ...

So what's it got in it (this will take a while) ...
8.8:1 JE Pistons (.040" overbore)
Eagle Rods
Meling Oil Pump
Ported and Polished Head (by Eddie Fiero)
1mm Oversized SS Valves
Crower Springs and Ti Retainers
Crower Stage 2 Cams
Underdrive Pulley
AEM Cam Gears

HRC S20G-H and Manifold (ceramic coated)
17psi WG actuator
HRC 3" Downpipe and Testpipe
HRC FMIC
HKS SSQ BOV

Ported and Polished Intake Manifold
Modern Performance 60mm Throttle Body

Neon 3.55 Gearset Tranny
Quaife LSD
Clutchmasters Stage 4 Clutch (Non-modular)
Fidanza Lightened Flywheel
Fidanza Racing Axles

HRC Portfueler with MAP remapper (MAP remapper allows car to idle nicely with cams)
500cc/min secondary injectors
Aeromotive 1:1 FPR
Aeromotive Fuel Filter
Supra TT Fuel Pump
Complete SS braided fuel lines with AN fittings

Apex'i N1 Catback Exhaust

Tein SS Coilovers
GS Rear Sway Bar
Front and Rear Upper Strut Bar
Rear Lower Tie Bar

Greddy Profec B Spec-2
Greddy TT
Greddy 52mm EGT Gauge
Greddy 52mm Boost Gauge
AEM UEGO Gauge Type
Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge
Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge
Crane HI-Di2 w/ TRC-2
Painless Wiring auxiliary fuse box

GSX Front Brake Conversion
Rear Disc Conversion from drums
SS Brake Lines
Powerslot Slotted and Dimpled Rotors

GS Side Skirts
Turbo Spoiler
Custom Green HVAC and Bezel Lighting
GSX Leather Seats

Pioneer 9200H Head Unit
6.5" RF Speakers

17X7 Konig Imagine
215/45/17 BFG KDW2

It's a work (electrically) in progress but mechanically sound. The interior needs work as well. Dirty and there are a few panels missing. There is a crack in the wind shielf as well. There's no battery because ... it's died from sitting around. It is relocated to the trunk though. Tires still have almost all the tread on them.

Honestly, it's probably best suited to be turned into a track only car. If I can't have someone buy it and haul it away, I will probably part it out. Again ... $8500 OBO.

Fellas,

This car blew up at the Shootout in 2004. At that point, Bill Hahn de-tuned the HRC race car and had his son, Adam, drove it behind the HRC trailer, where this car rode back to the Chicago area. There the car remained for a full year, while Bill Hahn Jr. tore the engine down and rebuilt it. I've seen the invoice for just this last rebuild and I can tell you that Thura is giving this car away at this price.

If I had the money, this would be the car I would buy modified and used. I don't think Thura's put anything short of 110 or 116 through it since he's had it back to Texas after the 2005 Shootout. It's got a proven 398whp. It's got one of maybe less than six HRC-built engines in it. Maybe some of you didn't know that, but now that you do, even if the car itself is a bit out of your range, maybe you might consider being a bit more productive and shooting offers to the man, rather than expect him to break down how much he wants for each and every item.

After all, the car is listed because he doesn't feel like finishing up the wiring. Do you really think he wants to drive down to Houston to tear it all down? emoji

Most people dont want to part it out but he said he would consider it thats why most of us ask, and it makes it 10 times easier when there at least ranges of what the seller is trying to get for parts, thats why I thought it was listed in the rules to post price no? Because without prices most buyers and the seller would be wasting their time....

I understand guys. Like I said, I'd like to sell it as a whole because it'd be very difficult for me to find time to take it all apart (especially when I can't find time to spend 8 hours to finish all the wiring). It's why I'm gauging interest. Whether there is enough interest in the car as a whole to sell or whether there is only interest in the parts.

Depending on it, I may finish it up and try and sell it as a running car, I may continue to see if I can find a buyer for the car as is, or I would part it out. I haven't decided. If it does come to a point where I'm parting it out I'll have a list of all the major components' prices in a FS post.

Good luck Thura. It's a bit out my price range and out of the area, but I definitely believe it's worth what your asking. I say don't part it out and sell it as a whole. She's a beauty.

Yeah bro, don't part out. That car is what i dream in my 2gnt. Someone will find the time and give the time back to that car. Too many of these cars are being stripped for parts. Oh by the way, if you dont sell the downpipe its mine! HAHA Just kidding, keep it whole!
