Ok well I used to have a nice little 99gs 5spd and I loved it. It was a blast to drive and it looked great. HOWEVER while in the AirForce I sold it to buy my current car.

1981 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe
Engine:
L-82 350 (dyno'ed @ 312/301 a couple weeks ago)
Holley 650cfm 4-barrell carb
Edelbrock short flow headers
Borla Exhaust (no cats)
4month old battery w/ 2yr warranty
Chrome air cleaner/valve covers (Original)
Drivetrain:
Turbo-Hydro 350 3spd auto trans
4.10 gears in rear end
Titanium U-Joints
Thickened half-shafts
Suspension:
RaceEngineering "stiff spring" package
Centerline "spinner" 15x9.5" rims w/ 255/55/R15 Radial GT's (less than 6,000 miles on tires...85-90% tread left)
Exterior:
MAKO front end conversion with gilled finders
Twin-turbo hood
single t-top glass conversion (One large fiberglass piece, rather than the 2 stock glass pieces)
Recessed headlight swap from 3rd gen Camaro (late 80s bodystyle)
one-of-a-kind hand made spoiler molded to rear of car (previous owner made spoiler and molded it to the car with NO SEAMS)
2yr old pearlescent blue flake paint job
Interior:
STOCK except for leather seats option when originally bought from GM, and an Alpine CDA-9851 head-unit
factory options - PW, PL (need motors), Tele-tilt steering, power seat
Only things interior needs is some minor vynil crack repairs on dash, passenger seat leather repair/replacement, touch up paint on steering column, and new guage cover (plastic has crack in it but it still solid)
KNOWN PROBLEMS:
A/C does not work. (ONLY needs a compressor/belt setup) It does blow air, but only air from outside
Passenger seat has small tear in the leather on the inside of seat (see picture). All it would need is a new cover to get back to original condition. No padding is coming out of the seat and the rest of the seat is in great shape. The driver side power seat adjuster is also in good working order
Hood latch cable is a bit stretched out. The driver side latch pops, but passenger side doesnt quite pull hard enough to open. However I can easily get my hand/wrist under the hood to pull the cord manually in order to open the hood. (I wear size 12.5 gloves so my hands are pretty good size)
Passenger exterior door lock has disconnected from its attaching mechanism within the door. The cables are all there as well as the key cylinder itself, it just spins with the key at it is turned.
The car has 73,3xx ORIGINAL miles on it. Everything in the car is either a stock part (with the above mileage) or has been replaced with a brand new part. It has never been in any wrecks and it runs and drives excellent. The car is located in Victoria Tx
This car is a deffinate neck breaker and eye popper. Every time I drive somewhere, I have people of all ages staring, waving, and telling me what a nice car I have. I originally bought as an investment for my future, I was going to completly restore it and then sell it to make a down payment on a house, however right now it just isnt working out with me having 2 vehicles. Im looking to trade my baby for a NICE 2g 5spd with low(ish) miles
Im sure Im forgetting to mention something, but if I can remember what it is, I'll be sure to post it up on here. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please do not hesitate to contact me via this forum or my cell phone. (361) 571-9504, give me a call and leave a voice mail if I dont answer.
Thanks, Walker
