This pump is of course the direct replacement for the FWD 2g 420a AND the FWD 2g 4g63. I have this along with the HRC fuel pump. (that's right! I want to have ample fuel!) Anyhow, this pump is the direct replacement for the BOTH of these models.

As far as fitament, it was a direct replacement "almost." I had to expand the bottom bracket a little becuase the pump mammothed over the stock one in size (as far as length and width). But besides that, it fit perfectly, and hasn't created ANY problems for me! I'm very pleased with it. Additionally, it only makes a quiet whine when I've run the car hard.

I have no cluse as to what the fitament problems are with the Walbro that comes with the STAR kit.
