Well I can tell you one thing. For some reason my oil keeps disappearing after my last oil change (hope its nothing serious). The reasons I caught the disappearing oil is that oil pressure gauge is normally about even with my temp if I am doing normal driving and for the past few weeks its starting to sit lower and lower. And no my oil light comes on when I am at low rpms going around curves in gear.

Not to sound like I know what’s going on or not but, is it possible that there is some kind of stock sensor that only sends a signal to the ecu to tell it when the pressure is low and then throw a light. That’s all that I can think of.

Many people have owned this car before me so it could be possible I guess that someone put some kind of sensor in. But I have had this avenger gauge in for 5+ months now (25$ at junk yard) and its always sat at the same spot when I am driving, and drops when I go low rpm's or am driving at lower speeds. I did compare how the gauge was reading to a 98 avenger my xgf had and they seemed to be very close readings, just mine was a little slower to respond. If I can get some video of it, if not just pics.

It is kind of strange that no one has posted about this before. If it gives true readings this would be an awesome cheep oil pressure mod for a n/t.
