i'll be the first... you think i'm just stupid or something?? over half of the CF hoods out there, THAT ARE BUILT CORRECTLY (latches) will not fly up. the reason for everyone's flying up is not just because they are light. most aftermarket hoods are not the companies worries if they dont fit right. and alot i have installed are just like every other. if the HOOD LATCHES RIGHT, LOCKS DOWN... it will not come up. period. i've had friends with carbon hoods for years now.... and nothing. and if it does happen to me, i wont whine.. when have i? hood pins ruin the look of a CF hood IMO. speaking on the gap. i've tried everything... when i put the bumper back on after working on the car.... it fits a little better. i think the screw closest to the headlight was a little loose. anyways.. its urethane... what can you do.
