#11139, "having problems with 6 bolt swap, please help!"

My 7 bolt crankwalked so I picked up a full 92 6-bolt motor w/turbo for $200! The timing belt snapped and crushed some valves, but I was just after the bottom end. I mated the 6 bolt block to my 95 head, sold the turbo for $300 and just when I thought I was coming out on top, I went to crank it, it backfired out of the intake. I have a 92 CAS wired up the way it is supposed to be, everything looks in place. Why is it doing this?

I beat an IS300!!!

mods: custom CAI, pacesetter header, MSD ignition, unothodox udp, polyurethane motormounts, egr blockoff plate, ngk iridiums + wires, Greddy evo catback, ported intake manifold.
