Okay, I looked at 2 side by side. the 2g gsx wheels are 2 piece that consist of a face and a rim that is welded together. the 3g ones are a 1 piece unit. it appears that the 3g inner diameter is a little smaller so it would be alittle harder to put big brakes in there. the 2g ones hav a bit larger ID and has a little more clearance for brake calipers. the 2g has an illusion of being a little bigger because the 3g's spokes actually look a little bit shorter than the 2g. i want some 2g one's anyone got a set for sale! thanks james
